Commitment
Pro Hoops Blueprint is committed to treating everyone fairly and with respect, and to complying with the Equality Act 2010. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment or victimisation on the basis of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
Inclusive delivery
- Sessions are adapted for ability, confidence and additional needs, including SEND participants.
- Groupings and activities are designed so that no participant is left inactive or excluded.
- Accessibility needs disclosed by the commissioning organisation are planned for before delivery.
- Girls' participation is actively encouraged, including single-sex groupings where the partner requests them.
- Cultural and religious needs, including dress and fasting periods, are accommodated where practicable.
Language and behaviour
Discriminatory language or behaviour by participants, staff or spectators is challenged and recorded, and repeated behaviour is escalated to the commissioning organisation.
Monitoring
PHB records participation data where the commissioning organisation requires it and reviews reach across cohorts.
Review and contact
This document is reviewed at least annually, or sooner following an incident, a change in legislation, or a change in PHB's delivery. Date of last review: 7th September 2026. Date of next review: 7th September 2027.
